Ways to volunteer
Find a role that fits you
Whether you enjoy working alongside people, bringing a creative skill, supporting events or sharing professional experience, there may be a useful place for you.
01
At our centres
Caring, patient and understanding volunteers help people with brain injuries rebuild skills. Volunteers bring fresh talents to the team, join monthly team meetings and can access Headway Devon’s training programme.
02
Share an activity or talent
Workshops can help clients develop skills, confidence and quality of life. Possibilities include arts, music, outdoor activities, drama, printing, cooking, complementary therapies and other interests you can share safely.
03
With fundraising
Help organise community events, raise awareness or take part in a sponsored challenge. Fundraising works best when people can build activity around something they genuinely enjoy.
04
As a Trustee
People passionate about improving life after brain injury can support the charity through its Board. Trustees meet with senior staff every two months and oversee the management of Headway Devon.
